MiniGig LLC, doing business as BeachBride ("BeachBride," "we," "us," or "our"), operates BeachBride.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit the Site or use our services.

By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Stage 1 Quiz: Email address and quiz responses (destination preferences, wedding style, timeline)
• Stage 2 Quiz: Name, phone number, wedding date, estimated guest count, budget range, and services needed
• Contact Form: Name, email address, and message content
• Vendor Registration: Business name, contact information (name, email, phone), business description, service areas, website URL, and billing information

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information, including:

• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and navigation paths
• Date and time of access
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

Information from Third Parties

• Vendor matching: To share your lead information with matched Vendors when you complete Stage 2 of our quiz and expressly request Vendor contact
• Vendor directory: To process Vendor subscriptions, manage listings, and deliver lead alerts to subscribed Vendors
• Site improvement: To analyze usage patterns, improve content and features, and optimize user experience
• Fraud prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent submissions, spam, and abuse
• Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes

3. How We Share Your Information

Vendor Matching

When you complete our Stage 2 quiz and request Vendor matching, we share your submitted information (name, email, phone, wedding date, guest count, budget, services needed, and destination) with matched Vendors. We only share this information when you expressly request it by completing the full quiz. Your Stage 1 quiz email is not shared with Vendors.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help operate the Site and deliver our services, including:

• Cloudflare: Website hosting, content delivery, and security
• Mailgun: Transactional email delivery
• Sendy: Email marketing and newsletter management
• Stripe: Payment processing for Vendor subscriptions (we do not store your credit card information; Stripe handles all payment data under their own Privacy Policy)
• Analytics providers: Website traffic analysis and performance monitoring

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.

Affiliate Partners

When you click an affiliate link on our Site, the affiliate partner (e.g., resort booking platforms, jewelry retailers, travel insurance providers) may collect information about your visit through cookies and tracking technologies subject to their own privacy policies. We do not share your personal information directly with affiliate partners.

Legal Requirements and Business Transfers

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BeachBride, our users, or others. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will notify you of any such change.

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Sharing lead data with matched Vendors is a core part of our service that you opt into, not a sale of data.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

BeachBride participates in affiliate programs with resorts, hotels, jewelry retailers (including Blue Nile, Brilliant Earth, and James Allen), travel insurance providers, and other wedding-related services. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content, and we disclose affiliate links where required by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site:

• Essential cookies: Required for the Site to function properly, including form submissions and security features
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the Site, which pages are most visited, and how users navigate the Site. These cookies collect aggregated, anonymous information.
• Functionality cookies: Remember your preferences, such as quiz responses and display settings
• Affiliate tracking cookies: Used by our affiliate partners to attribute purchases made through our links. These are third-party cookies set by the affiliate networks.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and secure infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you submit information at your own risk.

7. Data Retention

• Quiz and lead data: Retained for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless you request deletion
• Email subscriber data: Retained until you unsubscribe, at which point your email is removed from active mailing lists. We may retain unsubscribe records to honor your opt-out preference.
• Vendor account data: Retained for the duration of the Vendor's account and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes
• Transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years as required for tax and accounting compliance
• Analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymized form and may be kept indefinitely

8. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you are located, you have the following options:

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails: Click the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at hello@beachbride.com
• Request access to your data: Email us to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction: Email us to correct any inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion: Email us to request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal retention requirements

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The Site contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate partner sites, Vendor websites, and external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each site you visit. Clicking a link to a third-party site does not imply our endorsement of that site's privacy practices.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to Know: You can request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete: You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal compliance, completing a transaction).
• Right to Correct: You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell your personal information. We share lead data with matched Vendors only when you expressly opt in through our Stage 2 quiz.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following additional provisions apply:

Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: Marketing emails, non-essential cookies, and sharing your information with Vendors (via Stage 2 quiz)
• Contract performance: Delivering the services you request, including quiz results and destination guides
• Legitimate interests: Site analytics, fraud prevention, improving our services, and enforcing our Terms of Service

Your Rights Under GDPR

In addition to the rights listed in Section 8, you have the right to:

• Transactional emails: Destination guides, quiz results, form confirmations, and Vendor lead notifications. These are essential to service delivery and cannot be opted out of while using the service.
• Marketing emails: Planning tips, destination features, and product recommendations delivered through our nurture email sequence. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

We include a valid physical postal address in our marketing emails as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. We honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Site or by email.
