Allison ♥ Patrick These two are so in love and they perfectly delivered a beautiful and emotional day on their beach wedding. Check out their first look and you’ll see tears of happiness and amazing love! Congratulations, Patrick and Allison!

We rejoice with you as you’ve found the other half of your hearts. How It All Began From the bride: We live in Carlsbad and spend most of our free time going to the beach. I am born and raised in San Diego, and my husband Patrick, is born and raised in Denver and has been living in Southern California for 10 years.

We met on May 15, 2014 through our mutual friend Jason, who also officiated over our wedding. The Happily Ever After Extra Special Wedding Details The wedding venue. Carlsbad Beach Resort and Inn has a quaint feel and beautiful grounds.

The staff was great too! Half our wedding guests were from out of town and the Inn was a great option for them. My in-laws are from Colorado and rented a beautiful home walking distance from the Inn.

Carlsbad village has great shops and restaurants all walking distance, which our out of town guests really appreciated. The food. We wanted our guests to get a true authentic and beautiful Southern California experience.

We had Mexican street tacos and an open bar serving beer margaritas, and specialty drinks. Our cake was from Azucar bakery in Ocean Beach and had a passion fruit filling that was amazing! V The wedding theme.

Our theme was “Seas the Day” and it carried the sentiment of a beautiful sunny laid back California weekend. The DIY projects . All of the details from the decorations to the flowers were a family affair.

My mother-in-law Janet, played a HUGE part in making our seaside beach theme wedding happen. She made quite a few of our decorations and also made suggestions. My mom, Consuelo, made all of the flower arrangements including my bridal bouquet.

Patrick and his family spent the morning of the wedding decorating our banquet room and the ceremony site. When we look at the pictures we see the love that our family has for us and it made our day even more exceptional and beautiful! Color palette.

Also, very important to have a great DJ! Alex (AR Entertainment), was our DJ and he did a great job of reading our guests. Best piece of advice is not to focus or stress out too much on the wedding, and enjoy being engaged.

The wedding day will be what it will be, and in the end it will be beautiful!
